We knew Krabi Outlet Village from a brochure at our hotel and visited this place out of curiosity.
The location of this outlet is in Krabi Town, several kilometers from Krabi Airport. From outside, it is quite noticeable because the exterior is unique, different to most buildings in Krabi. Parking spaces are a lot, and it has clean toilets.
We arrived there on a rainy afternoon. Luckily we got a parking space near the entrance. When we came into the store, it was quite calm. There were not many visitors, but there were many shop attendants. I don’t know because it was raining that time or it just normally has not many visitors.
The store basically sells branded fashion and sportswear, as well as other kinds of stuff like footwear, luggage, and bags. The product range we found is quite a lot. Although it claims that it offers up to 70%, prices are not that cheap.
As for us, nothing caught our interest except baby stuff! Wifey decided to shop some baby equipment like baby clothes, swaddle cloth, nail cutter, towel, mittens, etc. Price wise, we found that they are relatively cheaper than in Singapore.
Tourist is eligible to claim VAT refund for purchases of minimum THB 2,000 in a single receipt. Just don’t forget to ask for a special form in addition to your shopping receipt. VAT refund will not be entertained without this special form (P.P.10). You can ask for it at the special counter outside the shopping hall.
After shopping, we tried the waffle at the snack bar outside the shopping hall. Just to wait for the rain to subside before we continue our Krabi Town adventure.
