Gardens by the Bay are our favorite attraction in Singapore. Beautiful man-made garden with giant avatar trees in the center. The highlight of Gardens by the Bay are the Supertree and the two domes: cloud forest and flower dome.
Besides the two domes, there are several others to enjoy: Sun Pavilion (desert plants), OCBY skyway (skyway connecting supertrees), Children’s garden (water play area for kids), Heritage gardens, Dragonfly and Kingfisher Lakes, Super grove trees (I call them Avatar trees).
The Domes
Forest Dome
In the forest dome, you will be welcomed by a tall man-made waterfall and a vertical garden. To enjoy Flower Dome, you have to take an elevator to the 7th level and your adventure begins from there. Don’t worry, it’s cool inside the dome, you won’t get tanned even it’s hot outside :).
Flower Dome
Flower dome is a flower showcase. Its theme changes periodically. For example, they are having Cherry Blossom for two weeks in March, Tulips around May, and much more.
Suggested Time to Visit
If you don’t have much time in Singapore, I suggest to visit the two domes and enjoy Garden Rhapsody in Super grove trees. Recommended visit time around 4 p.m. to start enjoying the 2 domes and watch the enchanting Garden Rhapsody (light show at Supertree Grove) at 7.45 p.m.
